# Trending

On CoinScan, every token is given a **Trending Score** - a measure of the token's popularity and market activity. This score is used to rank tokens on the trending section and bar, highlighting the most active pairs at any moment.

Although our algorithm details remain proprietary, we evaluate several critical metrics:

### Market Activity

* Volume
* Liquidity
* Transactions
* Makers
* Holders

### Community and Reliability

* Visits to the token's CoinScan page.
* Tokens with verified details gain an advantage.

Projects should maintain high trading activity and strong community engagement on CoinScan to rise on the trending list.
